Call for Volunteers

Who: The State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section (YLS), The Wolverine Bar Association (WBA), and You.

What: Mock trial with Saving Kids of Incarcerated Parents (SKIP)

When: Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Where: Frank Murphy Hall of Justice 1441 St. Antoine St. Detroit 48226

With the help of volunteer attorneys, SKIP students will conduct a mock trial based on the DreamWorks Film, Madagascar 2. At least 15 lawyers are needed to serve as partners for the S.K.I.P. participants and to assist with their roles as counsel, judge, and jury in the trial. Lunch will be provided.
