The Young Lawyers Summit is the annual section-wide gathering of the members of the YLS, which is the second largest section of the State Bar with approximately 8,000 members. The Summit has been held at numerous venues across the State of Michigan and we are pleased to bring the Summit to Lansing in 2014. The event is designed to provide a networking opportunity for the State Bar's newer lawyers, as well as a wide array of educational programming.

This is a free event but registration is required. Space is limited.
The New Member Orientation is designed to assist you with your transition into the practice of law. The orientation will introduce you to a network of professionals and resources that will benefit you now and into the future. Come learn about the research, technology, educational, and other professional resources and benefits available through the State Bar of Michigan and its sections. The orientation will address the common pitfalls that new lawyers should avoid, answer frequently asked questions, and offer tips that every new lawyer should know.
