This holiday season, Wayne State Law School’s Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer Clinic’s Winter Wishes program raised $8,875 worth of goods and donations. The donated items will be given to 10 families, including 16 adults and seven children, all clients of the clinic over the past year.

Winter Wishes started in 2012 as a capstone project for one of the clinic’s social work interns. This year’s donations included blankets, boots, coats, gift cards, hats, scarves, and toys.
