Silvia Alexandria Mansoor, an attorney with Koussan Hamood PLC in Southfield, will be biking 100 miles on August 19, 2018, to raise money for the Hope Water Project. She will be participating in the Assenmacher 100, which is a cycling ride that goes through the farmland and villages of mid-Michigan.

The Hope Water Project raises funds for water-well construction for the Pokot people in western Kenya. This will be Mansoor’s second year of fund-raising with this project and her third year participating in the Assenmacher. Mansoor says, “I strongly believe that as humans, and especially as attorneys, we’re measured by what kind of an impact we can make on society.”
