All the Ways A Lawyer Helps

Detroit Legal Services Clinic

The Detroit Bar Association hosts an advice and counsel clinic from noon to 3:00 p.m., one Tuesday each month, on the 13th floor of the Penobscot Building in Detroit. The clinic is comprised of volunteer attorneys who provide advice to low-income pro se litigants and others with legal questions residing in Wayne County. Training, lunch and free parking are provided to volunteer attorneys. Detroit Legal Services Clinic attorneys counsel pro se litigants on a variety of issues in all Wayne County courts and administrative proceedings.  The most commonly sought information is related to issues involving divorce, child support, domestic relations, expungements, self-representation, and general civil law.  For more information and the dates of upcoming clinics, click HERE.
