All the Ways A Lawyer Helps

Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army

Sheriff Mat King and Rotary Club Member, Attorney Gerry Mason

The St. Clair County Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign is underway. The Salvation Army and the St. Clair Rotary Club carry on the annual tradition of ringing bells outside Neiman’s Family Market in St. Clair.

The Salvation Army, Rotary Club, the St. Clair Running Club, and volunteers from the county’s Sheriff’s Department, Prosecutor’s Office, local businesses, and the St. Clair High School’s band and National Honor Society students seek to fill 70 time slots to ring bells outside Neimans.  Proceeds will help meet the needs of over 1,000 children and 600 families this Christmas. People seeking assistance are asked to contact the Salvation Army as soon as possible by phone at 810-984-2976.

People willing to volunteer are asked to contact the Salvation Army and sign up for a slot to ring bells.  Hot chocolate is available for volunteers, and they can sign up to win a diamond necklace donated by Coughlin Jewelers. Bells are rung outdoors, so people can safely distance. Visit your local Salvation Army bell ringers this holiday season to support them and those in need.
