2021 Pro Bono Honor Roll Application The 2021 Honor Roll recognizes Michigan attorneys who provided qualifying legal services in the 2020 calendar year. The Honor Roll will recognize, on tiered recognition lists, both Michigan attorneys who provide 30 or more hours of pro bono legal services in a calendar year and law firms and corporations that achieve a per-attorney average of at least 30 hours of pro bono legal services in a calendar year. The recognition lists will use tiered levels of 30, 50, and 100+ hours.

SBM is looking at additional ways to recognize the significant amount of pro bono legal services provided each year by Michigan attorneys and firms. More information to come very soon!

2021 Pro Bono Service Reporting Survey  Even if you do not want to be publicly recognized for your pro bono service, you are still encouraged to report your pro bono service hours to the State Bar of Michigan by completing and submitting this form.  The pro bono service information you submit will not be shared for individual attorney recognition purposes, unless you authorize the State Bar of Michigan to include your name on the published version on the Honor Roll.

Are you reporting pro bono service information for an individual attorney or for a law firm or corporation with two or more attorneys?

2021 Pro Bono Honor Roll Application (Individual) This online form should be used to submit pro bono service information for only one attorney. Attorneys that work for a law firm or corporation with multiple attorneys can use this form, as long as the pro bono service information being reported is for only one attorney.  

2021 Pro Bono Honor Roll Application (Firm/Corporation) This online form should be used to submit pro bono service information for two or more attorneys employed by the same law firm, corporation, or other organization.
