HB 5018 Enact sentencing guidelines for crime of cyberbullying;
HB 5222 Provide for requirement for health warning labels on marihuana products sold in Michigan;
HB 5234 Allow medical probation based on physical or mental incapacity and compassionate release based on imminent death;

SB 381 (The Code of Criminal Procedure, Service of Notices to Surety Bonds) was presented to the Governor and is now Public Act 174.

SB 385 (Occupational Code, Collection Practices) passed the House 92 to 13 on November 29th.
SBM Position on SB 385: Opposed as introduced; Support the S-1 substitute as passed the Senate because it addressed concerns with the unlicensed practice of law.

SB 419 (Probate Code of 1939, Considerations for Returning Child to Custody of Parent), SB 420 (Child Protection Law, Considerations for Returning Child to Custody of Parent), and SB 421 (Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Act, Considerations for Returning Child to Custody of Parent) passed the Senate unanimously on November 30th.

SB 435 (Revised Judicature Act of 1961, Certification of Drug Treatment Courts by SCAO) was presented to the Governor and is now Public Act 161.
