Privacy risks are inherent in the use of digital footprints and biometric identifiers, such as facial recognition and DNA. Nonetheless, our personal data is being collected, recovered, analyzed, and used by law enforcement and private industry with and without our consent. Have we given up our reasonable expectation of privacy—and our constitutional rights—in the digital age?

Speakers include a detective/sergeant from the Michigan State Police's Computer Crimes Unit & Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a specialist from MSP's Digital Analysis and Identification & Biometrics (facial recognition) Section, representatives from Envista Forensics, and a PhD candidate in network security who is also a detective for a sheriff's department.
