SB 0014 (The Michigan Penal Code, Jurisdiction) passed the Senate 20 to 15 on 3/18. It now moves onto the House Judiciary Committee.

SB 0015 (The Code of Criminal Procedure, Jurisdiction) was reported out of the Senate Judiciary & Public Safety Committee without amendment on 3/17.

Public Administrative Hearing Scheduled
The Michigan Supreme Court has scheduled a public administrative hearing for Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The agenda is available here. This hearing will be held via Zoom videoconferencing and broadcast on the Court’s YouTube channel. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and will end no later than 11:30 a.m.
