ADR Section members are invited to attend Brunch for Bars, an informative event in Detroit sponsored by the Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee and the Equal Access Initiative of Justice Initiatives.

Brunch for Bars focuses on the power of collaboration. This year, we will be digging deeper.

Progress on improving inclusivity in the legal profession requires that we develop and maintain effective communications skills that recognize difference and invite disagreement as a starting point for productive discussion. With this truth in mind, we have invited Saeed Khan, an expert in Middle and Near East history and politics who lectures at Wayne State University, and Howard Lupovitch, director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne State University, to share their perspectives on the rise of xenophobia. They have lectured together on the subject and have also appeared recently on the Detroit Public Radio program "Detroit Today" with Stephen Henderson.

Please join us for this important discussion on finding common ground and respectfully agreeing to disagree.

If you have any questions please contact merskine@mail.michbar.org.
