HB 4260 (The Michigan Penal Code, Embezzlement from Elder Adults) was reported out of Committee as Substitute H-4. It now goes onto the full House of Representatives for consideration.
Elder Law & Disability Rights Section Position on HB 4260: Support with Recommended Amendments.
Probate & Estate Planning Section Position on HB 460: Oppose with Recommended Amendments.

HB 5117 (Revised Judicature Act of 1961, Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation), HB 5118 (Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation Act, Time of Claims), and SB 68 (Revised Judicature Act of 1961, Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation) passed the Senate unanimously on 2/11.
