Spring-Board Seminar to Focus on Decision-Making in Employment
The Labor & Employment Law Section will host its annual Spring-Board seminar from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at the Reserve at Big Rock Chop House, located at 245 S Eton St. in Birmingham.
Spring-Board will feature a three-hour-long interactive seminar led by Kimberly Papillon, an internationally recognized expert on medical, legal, and judicial decision-making. The seminar will explore what emerging neuroscience research reveals about how unconscious processes affect daily decision-making. The goal is to understand implicit preferences and to identify methods to support sound decision-making related to employment. The seminar will be beneficial for law-firm practitioners, in house counsel, human resources professionals, public sector attorneys, and the judiciary. Two hours of networking will follow the seminar.
The seminar costs $65 in advance of June 17, and $75 at the door. Drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and valet parking are included in the cost of admission.
