Electronic ballots for the 2023 State Bar Elections are being sent

Electronic ballots for the 2023 State Bar Elections are being sent May 23, 2023. All voting is conducted online, and polls close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

The election includes contested races in the Judicial Tenure Commission and in Districts H and I for the Board of Commissioners.  All active members of the State Bar will receive a ballot for the Judicial Tenure Commission race, and ballots are personalized to include other races in which a member is eligible to vote.

Michigan attorneys will receive an email with a link to their ballot. Please DO NOT FORWARD this email; this is your personal ballot information. The e-mail will come from sbmelection@electionservicescorp.com with the subject "Vote Now in the 2023 State Bar of Michigan Election—E-Ballot enclosed." If you do not receive your ballot, please check your spam folder and make sure you are checking the email account currently on file with the State Bar of Michigan. Review your information at michbar.org/MemberArea.

The voting site is secure and offers the same level of privacy and anonymity as voting by mail.
