Remote Witnessing and Notarization Legislation Extended

Governor Whitmer has signed legislation extending the sunset date for remote witnessing, notarization, visitation, and electronic signatures due to the ongoing pandemic. Public Acts 246, 247, 248, and 249 expired at the end of 2020, but the newly signed legislation, 2010 PA 335, 336, 337, and 338, extends these terms through June 30, 2021.
