Voting now open for 2025 State Bar Elections

Michigan attorneys can now cast their votes for the 2025 State Bar Elections. 

All Michigan attorneys have been emailed electronic ballots for the election. Attorneys must cast their online ballots by 11:59 p.m. June 16, 2025.

The June election will include:

• A statewide election for a non-judicial member of the Judicial Tenure Commission.
• for 85 members of the Representative Assembly in 48 judicial circuits.
• for seven members of the Board of Commissioners in five commissioner districts.
• for 13 members of the Young Lawyers Section Executive Council in three districts.

The email ballot is being sent from sbmelection@electionservicescorp.com with the subject, "Vote Now in the 2025 State Bar of Michigan Election—E-Ballot enclosed." DO NOT FORWARD this email; this is your personal ballot information.

If you do not receive your ballot, please check your spam folder and make sure you are checking the email account currently on file with the State Bar of Michigan. You can review your information at michbar.org/MemberArea.

The voting site is secure and offers the same level of privacy and anonymity as voting by mail.

Please note that there will also be a special election in July to fill a partial term for a non-judicial member of the Judicial Tenure Commission due to a resignation.
