Last chance: Sign up for Consolidated Billing with the State Bar of Michigan

Don’t miss your opportunity to sign up for Consolidated Billing with the State Bar of Michigan, a free benefit that makes online license renewal faster and easier. This benefit is available to any firm or organization with at least five Michigan attorneys on staff.

The license renewal tracking and payment system is now in its fourth year, and many of Michigan’s largest firms are already enjoying the simplified fee payment option. Current participants overwhelmingly report they are highly satisfied with the Consolidated Billing program and say they would recommend it to other firms.

Consolidated Billing allows attorneys and firms to avoid the hassle of collecting remittance documents, to pay license fees quickly, and to retrieve payment information easily to streamline internal accounting, and more.

The deadline to sign up for Consolidated Billing is Aug. 25.

Participation is easy. The State Bar of Michigan has a dedicated coordinator to answer questions and facilitate use of the Consolidated Billing system. Consolidated Billing is not open to individual attorneys. Attorneys are encouraged to talk to their finance department or others who pay bills to discuss Consolidated Billing as an option.
