Volunteers needed for high school mock trial competition
The Michigan Center for Civic Education (MCCE) is kicking off its 2025-26 High School Mock Trial competition on February 13 and is seeking volunteers to support this year’s events.
Hosted annually, these mock trials aim to advance participating students’ knowledge and skills by allowing them to transform themselves into attorneys and witnesses as they enact case facts in front of attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals inside a real-life courtroom.
MCCE is looking for judges, lawyers, paralegals, law firm staff, court staff, law students, college students, and anyone else interested in the law and helping young people. This year’s competition includes six event dates and four volunteer roles.
Sharing this volunteer opportunity with your staff, colleagues, friends, and neighbors is also encouraged.
