Limited-Scope Representation allows clients to pay only for the services they need and helps increase access to legal services at an affordable rate that is also beneficial for lawyers.

Each session in the three-part webinar series covers a different aspect of Limited-Scope Representation. The webinars start at noon and run approximately 60-75 minutes. Michigan attorneys can register for all three for just $20 or any individual webinar for $10. Register here.

  Attendees will learn what Limited-Scope Representation is and how it works in Michigan. The session will include an overview of how a flat rate legal service package can replace billable hours and invoicing, how Limited-Scope Representation can reduce burnout, and the ethical rules and responsibilities related to Limited-Scope Representation. Hosted by the State Bar of Michigan and featuring special guest Mechelle Woznicki of Woznicki Law, PLC.

• SESSION 2: Building a High Efficiency Limited-Scope Practice | July 29, 2026
  This session focuses on how attorneys can design Limited-Scope Representation packages that are automated, efficient, and compliant with court rules and professional responsibilities. Sample forms and real-world examples of Limited-Scope Representation in practice are also included. Hosted by the State Bar of Michigan and featuring special guest Mechelle Woznicki of Woznicki Law, PLC.

• SESSION 3: Smarter Lawyering with AI: Powering Limited Scope Practices | August 18
  This session will examine how the thoughtful use of artificial intelligence can improve efficiency within Limited-Scope Representation. This webinar will identify the AI tools that align with Limited Scope legal services, the ethical duties related to the use of AI in the legal field, and best practices for responsible AI use. Hosted by the State Bar of Michigan and featuring special guest Jeff Woods of CARET Legal.
