All the Ways A Lawyer Helps

Super ‘Yooper’ Victoria Radke Does It All

Escanaba attorney Victoria Radke is always there, and always going above and beyond, when the pro bono community comes calling.

For many years, she has quietly handled pro bono cases for Legal Services of Northern Michigan (LSNM) in and around Delta County. For many years, Victoria routinely handled at least two domestic relations matters at a time through LSNM.   Her cases usually involved helping victims of domestic violence and other types of abuse, which can be time intensive and emotionally taxing. But Radke never complains and never seeks recognition.

In addition to her regular pro bono case load, she has also stepped in or filled in on a variety of positions and projects. When LSNM had a vacant staff attorney position in its Escanaba office, Radke took over the cases that needed representation, billing LSNM just a fraction of her normal hourly rate. She currently serves as the chair of the LSNM Board of Directors.

Needless to say, this super ‘Yooper’ has made a major impact not only on the LSNM, but also many residents of the Upper Peninsula.
