In celebration of the ABA National Celebration of Pro Bono, forty-one Wayne State University Law School students took the Warrior Pro Bono Pledge to donate 50 or more hours of free legal services through the school’s Student Voluntary Pro Bono Program. During the week-long celebration of pro bono, Wayne Law hosted a number of events and promoted the pledge to encourage students to give back. To date, the Student Voluntary Pro Bono Program has yielded over 9,500 hours of pro bono legal services for 33 institutions and organizations throughout southeast Michigan.
