Labor Law Section Hosts SpringBoard

The State Bar of Michigan Labor & Employment Law Section will host SpringBoard, a seminar on “Inside Perspectives from In-House Counsel” followed by networking, from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, at The Reserve at Big Rock Chop House, located at 245 South Eton Street in Birmingham.  

The seminar will consist of three 40-minute-long roundtable discussions that will allow participants to engage with prominent in-house counsel in a discussion about the various considerations involved in the decision-making process for an employment case. Featured speakers will include in-house counsel from several different industries, including automotive, banking, education, food services, gaming, health care, municipal government, utility services and more. Registration for the event will begin at 3:30, the seminar will occur from 4-6 p.m. and networking with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will take place from 6-8 p.m.

The event costs $50 for those who register by June 5, and $60 for those who register at the door (on-site registrants must pay via check or cash only).
