Voting now open for the 2026 State Bar Elections
Michigan attorneys can now cast their votes in the 2026 State Bar Elections.
Each Michigan attorney has been emailed a link to their personalized ballot. Voting ends 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026.
The election includes contested races for the Judicial Tenure Commission as well as the Board of Commissioners District H (Lenawee, Monroe, and Wayne counties) and District I (Oakland County).
Ballots will be emailed from sbmelection@electionservicecorp.com with the subject, “Vote Now in the 2026 State Bar of Michigan Election – E-Ballot Enclosed.” Your ballot will automatically include the races in which you are eligible to vote. The online voting site is secure, and you will have the same level of privacy and anonymity as if voting by mail. The system prevents attempts to vote more than once.
If you did not receive your ballot, please check your spam folder and make sure you are checking the email account currently on file with the State Bar of Michigan. You can check your contact information by logging into the online Member Area at michbar.org/MemberArea.
If you have questions, contact Amy Owens at aowens@michbar.org or Carrie Sharlow at csharlow@michbar.org.
