The FBA Eastern District of Michigan Chapter will once again sponsor the New lawyers Seminar, a two-day “nuts and bolts/how to do it” seminar for newer lawyers. The first day of the seminar is “Federal Day” with intensive focus on the practicalities of federal practice, followed by a swearing-in ceremony (for which there is a separate registration through the Clerk’s Office. Day two is “State Day”, guiding new lawyers through the intricacies of the tri-county court systems, with a luncheon traditionally addressed by the Chief Judge of the Wayne County Circuit Court.
