Join the OCBA for the 2017 Diversity Dinner ("The Taste of Diversity").  The Taste of Diversity dinner is a biannual event created to promote diversity in the legal profession. This very important event will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at The Bird and The Bread located in Birmingham.  The event will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m., including a short awards presentation.

The mission of the OCBA's Diversity in the Legal Profession committee is to increase awareness in the Oakland county legal community of the need to provide equal opportunity for all lawyers and support personnel through education and programs sponsored by the OCBA and in collaboration with other legal organizations, like yours.  With your support we are hoping to make this event one of the most successful and meaningful yet.

A highlight of The Taste of Diversity is the presentation of the Leon Hubbard Community Service Award and the Michael K. Lee Memorial Award Recognizing Diversity.  Nominations are due by Wednesday, August 2, 2017.  The Diversity in the Legal Profession Committee will meet to review the nominations and select the award recipient.

Please visit the OCBA website for more information on this important event as well as information regarding the Leon Hubbard Community Service Award and the Michael K. Lee Memorial Award at http://www.ocba.org/events/taste-of-diversity-2017/ .
