Court costs

In an order in lieu of granting leave to appeal, the court remanded the case (see e-Journal # 58497 in the 12/5/14 edition for the Court of Appeals opinion) to the Court of Appeals for consideration of the defendant’s issue regarding the trial court’s assessment of court costs. The Court of Appeals did not address this issue in its initial review of the case. The court denied leave to appeal in all other respects because it was not persuaded that it should review the remaining questions presented.
